‎ سذگ مرمر से मेरे आसू
सागर की लहरो में छिप जाते हैं
और इस सागर का पानि
न जाने कहाँ बह जाता है?

sang marmar se mere āsu ( My tears -reflective- like pure marble )

sāgar kī lehro mē chip jatē hain ( Hide in the waves of the ocean )

aur is sāgar ka pāni ( And the water of this ocean )

n jānē kidhar bēh jātā hai? ( Who knows where it flows? )
